    SIZE: 3000 SQ FT
    STATUS: CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

A carpet store was completely gutted to create a fresh and unique American bistro restaurant in the center of Jackson Heights. Everything from the opening the brick to create windows to wall coverings was pushing towards the same goal, light. A once dark and depressing place was completely transformed into a light and refreshing interior that you can enjoy coffee, cocktails, or fresh cuisine.

This gut renovation included all new floors and walls, and a full industrial sized kitchen complete with pizza oven. Custom wall paper designed by Dan Funderburgh that will carry through out based on the surrounding landmarks. New custom made brown leather booths and an all wood bar top create a space that encourages comfort and gathering. Party room in the basement allows for family gatherings, birthdays and parties that bring the neighborhood together. Four new bathrooms all painted differently to ground this design in the concept of eclecticism that is so prominent in the borough of Queens.
